Terms of Use

1. Who we are

GonBots is a card and robot game developed and operated by GonPlus (Santiago, Chile). You can contact us at contacto@gonplus.cl.

2. Your account

• You must be 16 or older to create an account and confirm it when signing up.
• You must provide truthful information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Your account is personal: you may not sell, transfer or lend it, or use someone else's.
• You can delete your account at any time (see Delete account).

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use GonBots for personal, non-commercial entertainment. The game, its characters, cards, art, music, text and software belong to GonPlus or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, decompile or commercially exploit them without permission, except as expressly allowed by law.

4. Virtual currency and in-game items

GonBots includes virtual currency (for example coins and in-game credits), cards, packs, chips, skins and other virtual items. Regarding them:

• They have no real-world monetary value and are not money, property or a financial instrument.
• They cannot be exchanged for money or for goods or services outside the game, nor sold, bought or traded outside GonBots.
• You only have a license to use them in the game while your account is active. They are lost if you delete your account or if we close it for breaching these terms.
• We may adjust their quantity, price, rarity, effects or availability to balance the game or fix errors. If an error grants you items improperly, we may remove them.
• Packs and boxes with random contents show their odds in the game before you open them.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

• If you buy virtual currency or items with real money, they are credited to your account once the purchase is confirmed and are subject to section 4.
• In-app purchases are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play, using your store account. Their terms also apply.
• Subscriptions (for example the Gonbot's Basic and Voice plans, monthly or yearly) renew automatically at the end of each period for the same price and duration unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Your Apple or Google account is charged when you confirm the purchase and at each renewal. The price and period are shown before you confirm.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store subscription settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Play Store › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions). If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Deleting the app or your GonBots account does not cancel your subscription: you must cancel it in the store.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, without prejudice to the rights granted by the law of your country. You can restore your purchases from the app.

6. AI-generated content

Your Gonbot's chat and voice are generated with artificial intelligence (OpenAI) and are only enabled if you give your consent. Replies are generated automatically: they may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate and do not represent GonPlus's views. They are not professional advice (medical, psychological, legal, financial or otherwise) and must not be relied on in emergencies. Your Gonbot is a fictional character, not a person. Do not share sensitive information about yourself or others in the chat. More details in the Privacy Policy.

7. Conduct

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms. Cheating, exploiting bugs, using bots or unauthorized software, harassing other players or interfering with the service is prohibited.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, or remove improperly obtained virtual items, if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect other users or the service. Where reasonable, we will notify you and explain why. You can stop using GonBots and delete your account at any time. If we stop offering GonBots, we will announce it with reasonable notice.

9. Availability and game changes

GonBots is an online service under continuous development. We may update, change or remove modes, cards, features or content, and interruptions may occur due to maintenance or failures. Some features require an Internet connection and an up-to-date version of the app.

10. Liability

GonBots is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, GonPlus is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or loss of data or virtual items arising from use of the game. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the non-waivable rights granted to you by law, including Chilean Consumer Protection Law No. 19,496.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page and, if the change is significant, let you know in the app and ask you to accept it. If you do not accept it, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Santiago, Chile, without prejudice to the consumer rights granted by the law of your country of residence. Questions: contacto@gonplus.cl.
